Check out Sunday in the Park with Civic, a percussion ensemble from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago’s MusiCorps program which offers a free, family-friendly, interactive chamber program for children Sunday May 3 at Indian Boundary Park in the Rogers Park neighborhood.

Now in its eleventh season, The MusiCorps Program is a music education and advocacy program in which selected members of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago have the opportunity to teach, mentor, and perform at various community sites serving diverse constituencies in order to promote music awareness, appreciation, training, and encourage audience development.
