As part of the Great Performers in Illinois series, Dennis DeYoung, former singer of the band STYX, will be performing a free concert July 12 at 7:30 pm with his seven-piece band at Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion, where he will receive the Great Performer of Illinois award for outstanding contributions to popular music and American culture.
The Great Performers of Illinois series in Millenium Park presents over 50 performers and artists across all genres in this celebration of the arts unique to this great state from July 10-13. 
This fourth annual festival is presented in partnership with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Bureau of Tourism; the Chicago Office of Tourism; the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Arts Council.
