Wicker Park Fest This Weekend – July 25-26

While not free ($5 donation), come check out the Wicker Park Fest July 25-26, featuring the best in up and coming indie music, local eateries, arts, handcrafts and lots of family and kids activities – all celebrating the uniqueness of one of Chicago’s vibrant and eclectic city neighborhoods. Voted one of the best neighborhood festivals by the Chicago Tribune for its music scene, the Wicker Park Fest attracts over 25,000 music lovers.

Calling all families! Because Wicker Park is home to so many young families, this year’s fest will include Wicker Park Fest Kids and offer children’s programming. There will be Kid’s Entertainment on the live music stages with Mary Macaroni, Mad Science and more, “Moon-Bounce” fun, a petting zoo, an alderman Dunk Tank, a “Psychobaby Activity Tent” for kids, a toddler crawl Space by Kid City and face painting by Metamorph Tattoos. Lots more children’s activities will be featured, too. Proceeds from Wicker Park Fest Kids will benefit Pritzker Elementary School.
