Are you visiting Chicago or maybe looking for things to do with kids this winter 2010 ? Well, Chicago has a bunch of world class museums, but also a number of museum deals, and when it comes to bargains, free is tough to beat. Many Chicago museums offer a number of “free days” during the winter 2010 to entice weekend wayfarers to visit the Windy City. The following is a list of some of the popular museums’ free days. However, some special exhibits may charge for admission.
Adler Planetarium — Every Tuesday in January and February, and Feb. 10 through Feb. 12.
Art Institute of Chicago — Every day in February, and from 5 to 8 p.m. every Thursday throughout the year.
Field Museum — Every Tuesday and Wednesday through Feb. 24 (except for Feb. 9)
Museum of Science and Industry — Weekdays in January, and Feb. 8 and 14.
Shedd Aquarium — Every Monday and Tuesday in January and February, and Feb. 17 through Feb. 19.
