Looking for a fun, free event for your kids in Chicago this Friday? How about meeting with Dora the Explorer and Kai-lan, who will be stopping by the Whole Foods in Lincoln Park (1550 N. Kingsbury St.) to teach kids how to make their favorite healthy snacks on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Whole Foods Market’s health food specialist, Karen Formanski, will participate in the food demonstration as well. Dora and Kai-lan will also teach kids how to say the healthy food names in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish! Both characters star in the new Nickelodeon show Storytime Live! this weekend at the Rosemont Theatre (March 12-14).
What a bargain. We will be there with kids in tow.
