Come out to Markethouse, where Chef Scott Walton leads this new series of free cooking demonstrations on a variety of topics. With Chicago’s farmer’s markets now in full swing, let Chef Scott Walton of MARKETHOUSE Restaurant and Bar share his best tips and demo his favorite recipes at his new free cooking series, “Heartland 101,” held Tuesday, July 13, 20 and 27 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Classes, held in the restaurant, are limited to 40 guests. A long-time patron of Chicagoland farmers, Chef Walton will advise guests on how to select the best meat, produce, and seafood along with offering some of his favorite tips and recipes. The Heartland 101 classes are complimentary to attend and will include complimentary wine and beer tastings and bites from MARKETHOUSE’s dinner menu. For guests who stay on for dinner, MARKETHOUSE will offer 30% off select bottles of wine featured during the class.
