Free Chicago Concert on Labor Day Weekend: Edible Audio Picnic – Orchard Lounge – Sep 4




Come out on Labor Day weekend in Chicago to hear the rhythmic sounds of Edible Audible Picnic, the poly-rhythmic free concert music series in Millennium Park in Chicago, and features DJs and live bands as diverse and entrancing as the electronic genre in which they play. On Saturday, September 4, hear a free concert from Orchard Lounge.   Orchard Lounge was formed in Chicago in 2000 by the collective of orchard lounge 300x225 Free Chicago Concert on Labor Day Weekend: Edible Audio Picnic   Orchard Lounge   Sep 4Ben Silver, Spencer Lokken and Bethany Lokken. This versatile trio has enlightened dance floors nationwide with their eclectic mixes, from sunset chill-out to bass-dropping tech house, and an array of other futuristic sounds, focusing on down-tempo, space disco, house, techno, b-boy era electro, hip hop, soul, and funk music that you can move to.

Edible Audible Picnic is presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Millennium Park, this free series expands to include 16 concerts on Mondays and select Saturdays at noon, beginning June 7 through September 4, 2010.
