Free Home Depot Workshop for Kids in Chicago on Labor Day Weekend 2010

Looking for some things to do for free over Labor Day weekend? Well, look no further as we have a number of free things to do this Sept 4-6, 2010:

HOME DEPOT — Kids ages 5-12 can participate in a free kids’ workshop on the first Saturday of the month this Saturday, September 4 from 10 AM to noon at Home Depot: they’ll be building a wooden  football stand.  Workshops are free and include a free apron and other fun stuff!  The free kids’ workshops take place from 9:00 a.m.-noon, and the kids leave with their project, an orange apron & an achievement pin.

  • Just in time for football season, this workshop will teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety through building a wooden football rack. All kids get to decorate and keep their crafts along with a kid-sized Home Depot apron and achievement pin.  Don’t forget you can also purchase kids workshop kits on-line at: Homedepot.com/kidsworkshops
