Free Admission to Ukelele Guiness World Record Attempt in Chicago – May 26

Let’s all join in for the world’s LARGEST free ukulele lesson and let’s set the record! Saturday May 26th, 2012, 2:30 PM at the gazebo in Welles Park, 2333 West Sunnyside Avenue.   The Old Town School of Music in Chicago needs you to help them break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of `ukulele players in one place (currently 1,378) and establish the record for the only group assembled to play a traditional Hawaiian song. This all-ages event begins with a FREE lesson, so beginners are welcome.     Don’t have a `uke? No problem. The Old Town School Music Store has Mahalo painted `ukuleles on sale for $25 this week. Stop in and pick one up!
