Free Family Singalong of Handel’s Messiah

Looking for a fun family event?  Peter Slowik leads an audience singalong with members of Lyric Opera of Handel’s “Messiah,” with a freewill offering to benefit Harmony Community Church and Food Pantry in North Lawndale. 4 p.m. Sunday, Grace Lutheran Church, 7300 Division St., River Forest; free; 440-774-3658, www.credo-music.org

On December 18, we invite the Chicago community to experience the joy of the season by singing along (or just listening!) to the highly cherished music of Handel’s Messiah.

Lyric Opera of Chicago musicians and Credo Alumni join the orchestra to support these fine soloists:
