The Chicago Chess Foundation is offering free four-day chess camps at four locations this summer. The foundation is spreading out around the city to teach the game to students from third to eighth grades with each camp culminating in a tournament. Learn more HERE in the DNAInfo.com article. Space is limited to 40 students for each session and each participant gets his or her own chess set, lunch and instruction based on their experience with the game. The camp is free, but organizers are asking for $30 from those who are able to pay to help defray the costs of the camp.
