FREE 312 Block Party This Weekend at Goose Island

The Goose Island 312 Urban Block Party returns this year with another stellar lineup of music at Goose Island’s Fulton Street Brewery, featuring the likes of  The Record Company, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Animal Collective, Joey Purp and others – in addition to some of the city’s best food trucks including Girl & the Goat and Beat Kitchen, and specialty brews, of course. Admission is free, but the brewery asks that a $10 donation be made to any of the following charities: The Mission Muscle Foundation, Open Books, Chicago Canine Rescue, Social Works and RefugeeOne. Friday-Saturday. 1800 W. Fulton Street. http://www.gooseisland.com/

Get ready for another 312 Block Party outside of the brewery. There’s going to be plenty of Delicious Food, Live Music, and ALL THE BEER.   Be sure to get there early and stay a while, this event has been known to reach capacity well before the headliner takes the stage.     Cost: This year we’re asking that you make a suggested donation of only $10 to your choice of a few local charities. Charity rules.
