Bundle up tight and make your way to Northerly Island this weekend for some FREE scary movies in Chicago — there will be a showing of the 1922 Vampire film “Nosferatu” — a cult classic for Halloween movie lineups — starring Max Schreck and this will be the last movie in the Park District’s Campfire Horrors screening series. Then, stick around for a 9 p.m. screening of George A. Romero’s 1968 film “Night of the Living Dead.” BYO blankets and chairs. Marshmallows provided. In the event of rain, the screenings will be moved indoors.
