This is going to be a good March in Chicago. The folks at Goose Island decided they wanted another reason to drink in the middle of March that didn’t involve green beer. After much deliberation they came up with 312 Day, a made up holiday on March 12th (3/12… get it?) that celebrates their hometown, Chicago. 312 Day is all about bringing the community together to celebrate great beer!

First, Check out the the Northwest Irish Parade on Sunday March 11th is a celebration of faith, family, and heritage on the Northwest side of Chicago. Or catch the 2018 South Side Irish Parade which kicks off at noon on Sunday March 11th, 2018. The parade will step off from 103rd and proceed down Western Avenue to 115th Street.
Randolph Street Market Festival
More than 200 vendors hawk their antique housewares, furniture, ephemera, clothing and more at this indoor-outdoor festival. Stop in for vintage clothes and jewelry, a vinyl swap meet, a fancy food market and global goods bazaar or bring your own items for appraisal. This event typically occurs on the last weekend of each month.

Our last festival, ran of March 3-12, 2017. More than 5,600 attendees viewed 52 screenings of 34 films in over 43 locations throughout Chicagoland, and in locations in the adjacent counties of Lake, DuPage, and Kane. This year’s festival promises to expand its reach, attendance and impact region-wide. Screenings in locations across Chicago cover topics including coral reefs, the Native American struggle for justice, Jane Goodall, and the Great Lakes ecosystem. Films will be screened all over Chicagoland, from Austin to Park Ridge to Columbia College.
