Taylor Gourmet, is a Washington, D.C. based sandwich maker, and they are ready to open their second Chicago location (after the first store in the loop) this Friday morning at 10a at 177 N. Morgan St. On Friday, the first 50 customers will get free hoagies, and tote bags with artwork by Mac Blackout, a Chicago artist who designed the mural in the new space. You can also get free cracked spuds, seasoned crispy potatoes served with a cherry pepper aioli.
If you miss free hoagies, the first 50 customers on Saturday will get a free SP DoubleStack Burger and T-shirts with Mac Blackout artwork. The burgers are made with two beef patties, “Boom Boom Sauce,” yellow American cheese, grilled onions, shredded iceberg lettuce, red onion and a sesame seed bun. And don’t worry, there will also be free cracked spuds all day.
