Free Children’s Concert – March 13
The Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) presents a free children’s concert on March 13 entitled “Let’s Make Music,” a fun and interactive children’s program for elementary-age audiences. Free and open to the public, the free concert takes place Saturday, March 13 at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue in downtown Evanston. The event begins at 9 am with an open house featuring an instrument petting zoo, early childhood demos, and refreshments, followed by a free concert at 10 am performed by MIC ensemble-in-residence Axiom Brass Quintet, filled with such games as “Find the Beat”, “Where is the Melody”, “Who is Playing”, and “Musical Chair”.
