Come to watch, build an ornate castle, or maybe you are more interested in a sand sculpture. Prizes will be awarded, including largest castle, best family effort, etc. Although the contest is free, participants should preregister by Sunday by calling (847) 866-4167. Beach admission fees apply to nonresidents; Clark Street Beach is free to residents on Mondays.
