Free Jazz Concerts at Chicago Millennium Park – July 30

Jazz fans…Chicago is the place for free jazz concerts!  Millennium Park presents the savory sounds of Chicago jazz during six free concerts at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion this summer.   This series, called “Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz” highlights jazz from Chicago, Central America, the Middle East and beyond.

First off is the July 30 Free Jazz Concert featuring composers Elbio Barilari and Kahil El’Zabar.  These world renowned composers offer musical tributes to President Abraham Lincoln and President Barack Obama with featured guests the Chicago Improvisers Orchestra. Special guests including Maggie Bron, Orbert Davis, Henry Godinez and others. Jay Pritzker Pavilion from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
