Museum Free Days – August 2

On Sunday, August 2, the first Sunday of the Month, both the Children’s Museum and the DuSable Museum of African American History are free (Dlogo_chicago-childrens-museumuSable is free each Sunday — Children’s is free the first Sunday of the month)

DuSable-Museum Through December, the DuSable Museum and the Chicago Blues Museum join forces to present The Soul of Bronzeville: The Regal, Club DeLisa, and The Blues. Chicago has many legendary blues and R&B musicians including Muddy Waters, ‘Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, and Buddy Guy that have contributed to the Chicago blues sound.  All images provided by the Chicago Blues Museum.

Chicago Children’s Museum is located on Navy Pier.  DuSable Museum is conveniently located in Washington Park at the corner of 57th and Cottage Grove. Our address is 740 East 56th Place. Learn more about getting to DuSable Museum.
