The 26th anniversary celebration of the Lit Fest on June 12-13, 2010, which is the largest free literary event in the Midwest, features new, used, antiquarian and specialty books for sale, author readings and signings, panel discussions, storytelling for kids and more. The Printers Row Lit Fest draws more than 125,000 book lovers to the two-day showcase. Visitors enjoy more than 200 booksellers from across the country displaying new, used and antiquarian books. The festival features stages with more than 100 literary programs, including; poetry readings, cooking demos, kids activities, exhibitors, wine tasting and much more! Come enjoy the Midwest’s largest literary event! This outdoor festival offers the opportunity to hear authors speak and debate their works. It also features unique booksellers, poetry readings, exhibitors, kids activities, cooking demos, wine tastings, and much more.

FUN FOR KIDS!
The Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest will include the exciting Kids Corner, presented by Shedd Aquarium, where kids and parents can enjoy storytelling, costumed characters, performances, sing-alongs, and special activities coordinated by educational and cultural groups.
Lit events also take place at the Harold Washington Library Center.
