Free Days in 2013 at Field Museum in Chicago

It is time for more Field Museum Free Days!  There are 52 days a year when basic admission is free to Illinois residents – including  Second Mondays. So come on down to the Field Museum at 1400 South Lake Shore Drive – Chicago, IL for free admission (regular price is $15/adults and $10/kids so this is a BIG savings!). THANKSGIVING 2013 UPDATE:
The Field Museum is open from 9am-5pm every day of the year (including 2013 Thanksgiving), except Christmas Day. Last admission is at 4pm daily. The Field Museum will be open until 6pm on Friday, November 29, 2013 and Saturday, November 30, 2103.

The Field Museum was originally founded to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893, which form the core of the Museum’s collections. The Museum’s exhibition, research and education programs are reknown and include a world-class natural history library of more than 250,000 volumes.
