Mark your calendar and join us in the FREE celebration of The City of Chicago’s birthday with a special free event at the Chicago History Museum. The birthday bash will be held Friday at the museum, 1601 N. Clark Street, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The museum will offer free admission at that time. The actual celebration- with a cake from Bleeding Heart Bakery- and performances by Tony Do Rosario Trio and The Latin School Band and a Native American drum band will be at 11 am.. Other invited guests include those who share the same birthday, March 4, as well as city officials. Birthday celebrants will receive an honorary certificate signed by the Mayor and share free birthday cake, courtesy of Bleeding Heart Bakery.

We went to the happy birthday Chicago celebration at the Chicago history museum and it was GREAT! Not only did we get to experience a great museum but we saw live jazz, got our picture taken with the mayor, and there was complimentary cake (too close to nap time for us, but it looked very tasty)
