WHY: The Six Corners intersection in Portage Park has it all! Home to big businesses and those smaller and locally owned, it’s primed to host the next best BBQ-themed summer festival! Be a part of a unique experience, where Chicago’s bustling Milwaukee Avenue is shut down to vehicle traffic and opened up for you! Proceeds from the 6 Corners BBQ Fest will be utilized for the neighborhood’s ongoing beautification project. Much of the reconstruction and rehabilitation project was completed last year with several streetscape upgrades. This year, the project continues and will fund plants and flowers to be installed and maintained. A historically recognized locale in Chicago, Six Corners is preparing to host the best in BBQ this summer! Don’t miss a drop of sauce!
