Black Friday – Chicago Area Store Deals and Opening Hours

Are you ready for Black Friday? 1. AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service): 4 a.m. Friday

Active and retired military guard and their families are authorized shoppers for the Exchange. Those shoppers can purchase a Mac and receive an Apple TV on Friday while supplies last. BLACK FRIDAY HOURSArmy and Air Force Exchanges will offer 25 percent off all Coach handbags (in store and online) on Black Friday for two hours (5 pm-7 pm local time). The Exchange will also have Xbox 360 4GB gaming systems for $99.95 (in store only).

2. Academy Sports + Outdoors: 5 a.m. Friday

Customers can shop select doorbuster deals online beginning at 12:01 a.m. CST

3. Ace Hardware: Hours vary by store because each are independently owned, says a spokeswoman.

Enter to win a Craftsman 5-drawer tool center Friday only in stores. For Saturday only, Ace will offer a coupon for “50% Off One Item Under $30″ on the cover of the Ace circular and online.

4. A.C. Moore: 5 a.m. Friday, with some exceptions

5. Babies”‘R” Us: 5 a.m. Friday

Store special: Free $10 gift card on toy purchase of $75 or more (with flier coupon). Serta Master Sleeper Crib and Toddler Mattress will be 50 percent off at Toys”R”Us and Babies”R”Us $89.99 from $179.99. Online offer: Free shipping with purchase of $100 or more.

6. Banana Republic: Midnight Friday, many stores

Get 40 percent off your purchase on Friday until 1 p.m. and 25 percent off your purchase for the remainder of the day. Through Thursday, save 40 percent off select “Style Level” promotions. From Saturday to Monday, save up to 40 percent off select “Style Level” promotions.

7. Bass Pro Shops: 6 a.m. Friday

The company’s five-hour only sale includes the Masterbuilt 30 inch stainless steel smokehouse with remote control and built-in meat probe for $179.99, originally from $329.99. Also on sale only from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. are RedHead 5-pocket jeans in various styles for $9.97, originally from $29.99 to $34.99.

8. Best Buy: Midnight Friday

At 120 stores at 9.p.m. on Thanksgiving, Best Buy will have an outdoor, big-screen viewing of the film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Best Buy will sell several items at deep discounts in extremely limited qualities, such as a minimum of ten Sharp 42-inch LCD HDTVs per store at $200, originally $500. 9. BJ’s: 7 a.m. Friday

BJ’s offers an instant $320 rebate on an exclusive Nikon D5100 Digital SLR Camera Bundle. Regularly $1,169.99, from Friday to Sunday, members will pay $849.99 for the camera, 18-55mm and 55-200mm NIKKOR VR lenses, a Nikon bag and instructional DVD. BJ’s also has a $800 instant rebate on the Samsung 55-inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV with Wi-Fi (with bonus Wireless LinkStick included), which is regularly $1,899.99 but will be $1,099.99 at the register. 11. Costco: 9 a.m. Friday

Online special: Online-only coupons good through Nov. 27.

LEGO Battles: Ninjago for Nintendo DS will be on sale for $9.99, originally $29.99, from Friday to Dec. 3 in stores and online. Buy 2 get 1 free on all pre-owned products from Friday to Sunday in stores and online. Online offer: Free Value Shipping on game and accessory orders over $20.

14. Gap: Midnight Friday in most stores

Save up to 60 percent off the entire store Tuesday to Sunday. On Friday until noon, buy $19 women’s jeans and sweaters and $15 GapKids and BabyGap profleece Gap arch hoodies. On Saturday and Sunday buy $10 Layering/Long-sleeved Adult T-shirts and 60 percent off GapKids Graphic Tees.

15. Gordmans: 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday

16. Half Price Books: 7 a.m. Friday

Store special: First 100 people per store receive a tote bag and $5 gift card. One person at each store will receive a $100 gift card. In-store shoppers will all receive a coupon good all day Friday where they can choose 40 percent off their highest priced item or $15 off their purchase of $50. Online offer: Receive a $5 coupon with each 25 gift card.

17. JCPenney: 4 a.m. Friday

Stores will have over 500 Black Friday deals including great Doorbuster specials from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. JCPenney will have over 100 styles of boots at $29.99, originally $70 to $120; over 50 choices of boots at $19.99, originally $60 to $80; and Nerf, Barbie and Fisher Price toys for $3.99 each, originally $12.99 to $19.99. For every customer that checks in on Foursquare at a store on Black Friday between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m., JCPenney will donate $25 to The Salvation Army, up to $100,000.

18. Kmart: 6.a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day in most markets; 5 a.m. Friday to 11 p.m. nationwide.

21. Michaels: 4 to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving and 5 a.m. or 6 a.m. Friday. Check your local weekly Michael’s ad for deals, including 50 percent off pre-lit entryway holiday garlands and Christmas trees.

22. Office Max: 6 a.m. Friday

Save $15 on a $100 VISA or MasterCard gift card Friday and Saturday. Buy a Toshiba Satellite Laptop featuring AMD Dual-Core E-450 Accelerated Processor for $299.99, regularly $429.99. Buy two installed tires and get a free oil change. Buy three installed tires and get the fourth tire free for all sizes and brands. See the circular for deals specific to Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For example, on Friday, from 6 to 11 a.m., Castrol Edge Motor Oil will be on sale for $4 a quart.

25. Rite Aid: 7 a.m. Thanksgiving (at select stores) through 11:59 p.m. Friday Store special: $10 reward when you buy a $50 Home Improvement gift card.

26. Sam’s Club: 5 a.m. Friday

The warehouse will have a complimentary breakfast from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. with hot egg sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee. Shoppers who join Sam’s Club or upgrade to Plus Membership while in-club through the weekend will receive a $20 gift card to spend immediately. Also, Sam’s Club Credit account holders will pay no interest on a single-item purchase of $488 or more if paid in full in 24 months. 30. Toys “R” Us: 9 p.m. Thursday
