Come out and enjoy the FREE Taylor Street Festa Italiana in Chicago. You will be able to experience all things Italian in Chicago’s Little Italy neighborhood at Taylor Street and Ashland Avenue on Friday, August 10, 5 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, August 11, noon to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, August 12, noon to 9 p.m. There will be tons of Italian cuisine, plus live entertainment, cultural exhibits, authentic Italian merchandise, a wine garden and children’s activities. Admission is free, but the suggested donation is $7 for adults and $5 for seniors.
The Onesti Taylor Street Festa Italiana (Aug 10-12) located in Chicago’s “Little Italy” neighborhood will be held Thursday thru Sunday drawing an anticipated 55,000 guests. The historic “Old Neighborhood” has long been revered for its fabulous variety of amazing restaurants capable of satisfying the most cultured of palates. The streets are lined with food booths representing a combination of generations-old legendary establishments and the new wave of contemporary critically acclaimed eateries recently unveiled.
There will be three stages with musical acts, plus a Kids Stage for family-friendly entertainment. The festival takes place Friday from 5:00 – 10:00 pm, Saturday from 12:00 – 10:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 – 9:00 pm. Outdoor cafes, Cultural exhibits, authentic Italian merchandise, a wine garden, culinary presentations and children’s activities make for a classic Chicago festival experience!
