The Creative Chicago Expo connects Chicago’s creative community with resources they need to thrive. For Creative Individuals and Organizations in Design, Culinary, Fashion, Film, Music, Dance, Theater, Literary, and Visual arts.
Through Keynotes, Workshops, Vendors and more, get professional development expertise from top local and national providers. In the Keynote events, Four of Chicago’s top creatives – Rick Valicenti, Chris Kaskie, Christine Cikowski and Joshua Kulp — discuss their visions, inspirations and accomplishments. Seating is limited, so plan to arrive early. All Keynotes will be videotaped for future broadcast by Chicago Works and CAN-TV.
IN the workshop events, we will give you tools you can use! Take a free workshop – there will be more than 30 at the Expo on topics like Fundraising, Copyright, Placemaking, Websites, Kickstarter Campaigns, Board Development and more. Each workshop is 1 hour. No rsvps, open seating. Missed a workshop? Don’t worry — all workshops will be audio-recorded by EARS-Chicago, and available on the Chicago Artists Resource website.
