Gather your friends and head out to the FREE 31st Chicago Gospel Music Festival which will will be held in Millennium Park this June 3-4, 2016. The free admission festival will feature local and national artists celebrating the genre’s deep Chicago roots with traditional choirs and contemporary urban gospel music in the city where the genre was born more than 80-years ago. Performances include Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir, Travis Greene, Shirley Caesar, William Murphy, Brian Courtney Wilson, Kinsmen, along with many others.
The free-admission festival kicks-off in Millennium Park on Friday, June 3 from 6:30pm–9:30pm and will continue on Saturday, June 4
The festival will feature three stages of live music in the heart of downtown Chicago marking its 31st year showcasing the rich heritage of Gospel music in Chicago.
