Looking for an inexpensive, free activity with the loved ones in Chicago? Check out the Chicago’s 2018 Free Movies in The Park, where the Chicago Park District’s annual series takes place in more than 125 neighborhood parks and makes a great cheap date or family night (just BYO picnic and blanket). Films start at dusk. Hollywood stars return to Chicago skies this summer, as Movies in the Parks brings big-screen entertainment to local parks for the eighteenth season.
The lineup includes the requisite kid-friendly hits (multiple screenings of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, The Boss Baby and Coco dominate the schedule), undisputed classics (The Color Purple, Rear Window) and recent blockbusters (Wonder Woman, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Black Panther).
