This year’s brilliant display is scheduled to illuminate the skyline and lake at 9:30 p.m. on the 4th of July. If once a year just isn’t enough for you and your family, then you can always visit Navy Pier in the evening throughout summertime. When do the fireworks start?
The fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m. on the Fourth of July. Navy Pier opens to the public at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
What’s the best way to get there?
The free Navy Pier trolley will run from 10 a.m. until midnight Tuesday on a looping route, providing transportation between Navy Pier and various parking garages, along Grand Avenue to State Street, and the Art Institute.
