Enjoy some FREE DAYS during Field Museum Free Days in 2020! There are 52 days a year when basic admission is free in 2019 to Illinois residents – including Second Mondays and EVERY DAY in February 2020. So come on down to the Field Museum at 1400 South Lake Shore Drive – Chicago, IL for free admission (regular price is $15/adults and $10/kids so this is a BIG savings!)Tickets can’t be purchased in advance; residents must bring an ID or other proof of residency to the museum to get admission.
Come on out and enjoy the Shedd Aquarium, which is FREE to Illinois residents on 25 days in February, 2020. These are part of what is called Illinois Resident FREE Days in 2020 when general admission to the Shedd Aquarium is free. Including these 25 FREE days, Shedd’s has 52 free days in 2020 take advantage of civic and school holidays to make family visits more convenient and the free admission to the Shedd Aquarium includes the Waters of the World, Amazon Rising, and the Caribbean Reef. Packages including Wild Reef, Polar Play Zone and Oceanarium are available at a discounted rate. In February, the museum will be FREE each week from Monday through Friday all month. You can get in the door by waiting in line and showing your ID, or you can pay a $3 fee to reserve your ticket online.
The Museum of Science and Industry is also offering more than 15 days in February for free for Illinois residents — so come out and enjoy this wonderful Chicago Science and Industry museum on their 2020 free admission days, including 15 FREE DAYS in February 2020 at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago! The MSI’s ongoing mission has been to inspire the inventive genius in visitors with world-class, permanent and temporary exhibits .
The Adler Planetarium in Chicago is offering free admission throughout 2020 on Illinois Resident Discount Days, including 10 free days in February. On these free days in 2020, general admission to the planetarium is free for Illinois residents. There is an additional fee for shows and the Atwood Sphere.
