FREE Chicago Civic Orchestra Concert – May 14th

Come on out and enjoy a FREE Chicago Civic Orchestra Concert at Kenwood Academy High School on Sunday, May 14 featuring the classic and wild Symphonie Fantastique by Berlioz and Masquerade by Anna Clyne. Get FREE tickets below!

Ken-David Masur conducts a dream sequence of pieces. Berlioz’s feverish portrait of an obsessed lover’s opium dream comes complete with a whirling ballroom scene, cackling witches and a slashing guillotine. Anna Clyne’s Masquerade evokes the 18th-century promenade concerts held in London’s pleasure gardens. Kenwood Academy Orchestra students join the Civic Orchestra for a new work.
